Muriel Thomas Robb, 98, Christian, loving mother, grandmother, and prayer warrior, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2023. Muriel was born in 1925 in Chaffee, Missouri, and lived much of her life in Memphis, Tennessee. She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kathy Thomas, and granddaughter Kelley Thomas. George, Muriel’s beloved husband and World War II veteran, preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Muriel enjoyed travel, including taking her son on many vacations during his childhood. She continued this tradition with her granddaughter, taking trips to such places as the Caribbean, Alaska, New York City, and the Billy Graham Training Center in North Carolina (which she described as her life’s dream). Muriel was a long term member of Bellevue Baptist Church, where she loved singing in the choir. She was also a resident of Bellevue Woods, where she cherished her many friends and neighbors. Muriel loved the Lord, and lived every day according to her faith, serving the Lord and others. She was a real life reflection of 2 Timothy 4:7; she fought the good fight, she finished the race, and she kept the faith. Muriel will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church (Chapel), 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, Tennessee.
