Nancy Carolyn Keeton Taylor

Nancy Carolyn Keeton Taylor, born on October 1, 1943, in Bath Springs, Tennessee, passed away in Collierville, Tennessee on November 13, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a resident of Byhalia, Mississippi.

Nancy moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1963 to attend cosmetology school, later becoming an accountant at Val Mac Cotton Company. She worked at Val Mac for 18 years, until the company was sold in 1984. Nancy and her husband, Tom, and son, Rick, moved to Collierville, Tennessee in 1984. In 1985, Nancy continued her career as an accountant at Allenberg Cotton Company until she retired in 2006. Even after retirement, Nancy worked part-time as an accountant at Rick's Powder Coating, a company her son and daughter-in-law started in 2002. In 2018, Nancy officially retired. She and Tom spent her later years traveling together, often going to Volkswagen car shows and visiting friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom Taylor; their son, Rick Taylor (Julie); and two granddaughters, Eva Taylor and Anna Taylor. Nancy is also survived by her brother Russel Keeton; nephew Chad Keeton (Gail).

Nancy is preceded in death by her father Sidney Keeton; mother Ruby Harwell Keeton; and sister-in-law Bobbie Keeton.

A memorial for Nancy will be held on Saturday, November 22 at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Rd in Collierville, Tennessee. Visitation at 9:00 a.m., funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Escorted procession to graveside directly after.
