Ever since our friend Ravi shared this sad news Mr Hari has been visiting me: in the middle of lecture, when I try to sleep, when I am just looking out of the window.
I have known Mr Hari from the days when he was heading the very important proofreading department. How efficiently and so warmly he managed his large team, weeding out painstakingly errors in our copies The likes of us had nothing but deep regards for him.
Years later we were once again working together in Exim, a shipping publication.
This time I got to know him better. We attended many marriages and offices events often travelling together. I visted him. Met his family. And how can I ever forget the fabulous idlies he got from home.
He felt so betrayed by fate when he suddenly lost his wife. It was so difficult to see him in.grief.
After we left Exim we could not be in regular touch. And then one day I got a mail from him. We have all moved to US, he wrote. I was so happy to get this news. He deserved the best.
I know Mr Hari where ever you are, you would be at peace. And you will spread peace around.
Goodbye Sir I hope you knew that I always had deep regards for you.

My Dad!

I am at loss of words to express my feelings after going through the obituary for the experiences, love and affection shared by each and everyone. I take solace in the fact that my dad is at peace and is in safe Hands now. I am sure he will always be there for us to shower his blessings. My siblings and I will dearly miss this wonderful and witty human being and more so as our dad.

Padma and I, on behalf of immediate family, would specifically like to thank the other families, relatives, friends, colleagues, Manager - Siva and to everyone who knew my dad for sharing the sympathy, love and support during this difficult period.

I know uncle for 20 years. He is such a humble person. Treats everyone with dignity. When I visited Mumbai for the first time, he took me to all tourists places. He never expects anything in return from others. Very kind and friendly person. We miss you uncle.

I knew uncle (Narahari) for more than half a century. He was my father's best friend since his days in Indian Express as a proof reader. A person of few words but at the same time quiet clear in expressing his thoughts on any subjects of mutual interest. After the death of my father, he was more a friend than an uncle. Atleast once a month he would talk to me and at times through video call. He also conselled me and my wife when we were passing through rough patch matrimonially.

For me, the death of Mr.Narahari is snapping of the last link with my parents. I shall be missing him for a very long time and his memories shall remain ingrained for ever.
