Patrick (Pat) Scharles Miller, age 81 of Memphis passed away peacefully November 24, 2019, surrounded by “his girls.” He was born in Texarkana, Texas on September 27, 1938, to Glenn and Kellner Miller. He was a proud high school graduate of Bartlett High School, earned a Bachelor of Science at Memphis State University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Christian Brothers University. Pat lived a very passionate life as a family man, engineer, business owner, investor and talented musician. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Peggy Miller; his daughters, Amy Pence of Memphis and Laura (Miles) Johnson of Fairhope, Alabama; four grandchildren, Ava Pence, Liza Pence, Miles Drew Johnson and Jace Johnson; his sister Eunice Brock (Sam McGill) and brother Michael (Betty) Miller. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church of Fisherville. Pat’s “home going” celebration service will be Saturday, December 14th at First Baptist Church of Fisherville, 11893 Macon Rd. Eads, TN 38028. Visitation will begin at 10am followed by a service at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, his family requests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Funding (JDRF), and First Baptist Church of Fisherville.
