Peggy Carter Mays

Peggy Carter Mays, 70, of Collierville, TN, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home. She was retired from Regions Insurance Group and Marsh McLennan Co. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Mays, her mother, Ruby Carter, and her siblings, Jan Foshee, Jerry Wayne Carter, and Michael Carter. She is survived by her Daughter, Kristen DeShields, her Grandson, William Taylor DeShields, her brother, Jimmy Carter, and her very special, Heaven-sent friends, Dianne Chester, Chris Ogale, and Lynne Berry. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 1pm until the funeral service begins at 2pm, all at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W. Poplar Ave. Collierville. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
