Rita Palazola Kramer

Rita Palazola Kramer passed on July 17, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born March 7, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the third daughter out of four girls to Dominick and Giovanna Palazola. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School for all 12 years. She recently retired with her husband to their treasured, sanctuary lake home at Pickwick Lake. “Rita’s House” holds a special spot for many, many family memories over the past forty years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years plus, Billy N. Kramer. Four children: Deborah Ann Kistler (Charlie), Anthony S. Kramer (Kris), Christopher N. Kramer, Steven J. Kramer (Chrissy). Thirteen grandchildren: Charles A. Kistler IV (Hannah), Annamarie K. Howell (Matthew), William Nathaniel N. Kistler (Alexandra), Michael A. Kramer (Faith), Anthony S. Kramer, Jr., Riggan N. Kramer, William Webster Kramer, Phoebe G. Kramer, William Elijah Kramer, Alaina C. Kramer, Rosalee J. Kramer, Mary N. Kramer, Samuel J. Kramer. Six great-grandchildren: Lucy Grace Howell, Maddux Ryan L. Howell, Macie Lane Howell, Harrison C. Kistler, William C. Kistler, Kya Marie Kramer. She is also survived by her three loving sisters: Marie Smith of CT, Joanna Forsdick of Bloomfield, IN. and Elizabeth P. Davis (Robert) of Georgetown, KY.

Visitation will be held at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 BAILEY STATION RD, Collierville, TN 38017, US, on July 24, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location on July 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
