Ronald "Ronnie" Turner

Ronald "Ronnie" Turner, 69, of Memphis, TN, passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018. Mr. Turner was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the Catholic Church. He was employed for many years for several paint companies in the Memphis area and was instrumental in helping run the businesses. Mr. Turner was a graduate of Ole Miss and was a dedicated fan of Ole Miss sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer David Turner and Lucy Turner Faulkner, two brothers, Joe R. Turner and Jimmy Lynn Turner, his grandfather, John Baker, his grandmother, Henrie Baker Dickie, and his brother-in-law, Billy Person. Mr. Turner is survived by three sisters, Donna Turner Chapman (Jimmy), Jonnie Turner Person (Dudley), and Jessica Riggs Tidwell (Alan). He also leaves his "son" and K-9 companion, Cooper and a host of nieces and nephews including his "namesake" Ronald Person, and his great-great niece, Bella Mills, who was born on his birthday. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 15, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at Collierville Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:15pm at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
