Sherry Arthur Walker, 67, passed away on June 18, 2026, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Following complications from a recent heart surgery, her earthly race came to an end, and she is now at peace with the One she faithfully trusted.
Born on July 9, 1958, Sherry Williams Arthur was the daughter of the late Boyd and Sally Arthur of Germantown, Tennessee. She grew up in Germantown and graduated from Germantown High School in 1976. Early in her career, she served as a secretary in the guidance department at Collierville High School. In 1981, she married Kent Walker, and together they shared 44 years of marriage.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Kent; her two sons, Jason (Amanda) and Taylor (Mollie); and her five beloved grandchildren, Joseph, Jackson, Lawson, Noah, and Crew. She is also survived by her sister, Kelly, and her brothers, Bo and Rob.
For most of her married life, Sherry dedicated herself to her family as a loving wife, mother, and cherished “Mimi.” Family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into caring for and encouraging those she loved. Her greatest joy was watching her sons grow into strong, successful men and spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Sherry will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering love for her family, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. She was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her, and her legacy will continue through the family she treasured so dearly.
Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing that Sherry is now whole, healed, and in the presence of Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered until the day we see her again.
