Steve Apple

Stephen Ernest Apple, 59, of Collierville, passed from this life at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 4, 2017. He was born August 14, 1957 in Honolulu, HI to the late Dr. Ernest Franklin Apple and Mrs. Martha Ann Owen Apple. Steve was a member of Collierville First Baptist Church, a graduate of Collierville High School, a self employed painter and a guitarist for several bands in Memphis. Along with his mother, Steve is survived by his daughter; Michelle Shelton of Dyersburg, his sister; Lynn Apple Keef (Rodney) of Alexandria, AL, two brothers; Bradford Owen Apple (Vicki) of Collierville, Paul Freeman Apple (Regina) of Anniston, AL, his granddaughter; Sarah Renee Mikel of Dyersburg and several nieces and nephews. Along with his father, Steve was preceded in death by a brother; John Franklin Apple and his grandparents; William Bradford and Grace Evelyne Owen, Ernest Frank and Lillian Apple. Services will be 2pm Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Collierville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at Noon. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville.
