Vincent (Vince) Wooten, age 66, resident of Hughes, Arkansas passed away in Memphis, TN following a brief illness.
Vince was born April 1, 1957, as the third child of the late Clayton Wooten and the late Pearlie Huey. He attended Richland Elementary and Junior High, and graduated from White Station High School in 1975. Vince grew up playing football and baseball, excelling in both sports. He later went to airplane mechanic school and worked for FedEx for several years. Vince had a passion for working on old cars, which he inherited from his father. He spent the majority of his career working for State Farm as an appraiser. In his free time, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and watching football and westerns.
Vince is survived by his two daughters, Lauren Rocconi (Joe) of Collierville, TN, Emily Morreale (Carl) of Wheaton, IL, five grandchildren, brothers Michael “Mike” Wooten (Cindy) of Germantown, TN, David Wooten (Cara) of Cordova, TN, and Richard Wooten (Margarita) of Chicago, IL and many nieces and nephews. Vince was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Wooten, of Memphis, TN and Gerry Wooten of Hughes, AR.
A memorial will be held for Vince at Collierville Funeral Home at 3863 Bailey Station Rd, Collierville, TN 38017. The visitation is to begin at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, with a short service following at 2:00 pm. This will be a celebration of life and friends are invited to share and take part in this celebration.
