Nora--I met Bill when Maxine and I joined CUMC in September 2004 and I attended the Men's prayer breakfast on the following Tuesday morning. Enjoyed visiting with Bill many Tuesdays over the years. Maxine and I fondly remember the Optimists dinner, dance and auction we attended with you and Bill in 2005. I bought a bicycle and Bill took it home for me. We lived in the same condo group for 3 years.

Bill was as fine a christian man and gentleman as I have been priveleged to know. We all will miss him.

Love--Maxine & Gene Cartwright

I have missed seeing you and Bill at the Tennessee district meetings in the past few years, but I recall the good times at the conferences, conventions, and local meetings as you contributed to the Tennessee District and with Opimist International.

May God bless you and family during this challenging time and in the years that lie ahead. And may your commitment to Optimism give you strength.
