I would like to thank all who came out last night to show the love and respect to my dad. It made me feel good that we were able to give him a respectable send off to a better place. I know he would feel proud to see all of his fireman friends and family. We will always love you dad and miss you forever............your son Arthur..........

My father-in-law for over 30 years, he was the best grandfather to my children.  His passionate devotion to family never wavered.  He was such a strong force of energy that his absence here on earth will be painfully missed.

Pop was my hero and protector.  He loved his family with endless devotion.  I wish I could tell him a thousand times more how much I loved him and how he forever changed my life.  I'm so lucky to have had him as my Pop and I will continue on in life doing things that would make him proud.

My condolences to the Mercurio family.  Mr Mercurio was always the first one to offer his help to anyone in need. A strong but gentle man with a magnetic personality.  We will miss him greatly.

Irene, Jim, Nancy and the entire Mercurio family.  Was so very saddened to hear about Art, you are all in my thoughts during this difficult time.  It was great when Art came up the street to pay us a visit while they were at Jim and Nancy's.  His tomato garden and the Collingswood Fire Co.were the topic of discussion always. When I lived in Collingswood, I could come to Art with any problem and he had the right advice or just the perfect tool for me to borrow.  He was an asset to the neighborhood and a wonderful friend to me and my family.  I'm sorry for Irene and the rest of the family for this loss.

It was a joy to get to know him better in the past few months. His humor was contagious and I will admit, he got me several times. My mentor, my friend, my firefighting buddy you will be sorely missed in my life. You join the others in the Big Firehouse. A final Bell rings. Rest in peace.

Art will remain in my memory for always.  As a fellow firefighter way back when, he helped me to see the beauty in people. He also kept our alert radios working.  I also worked with him at Borders Electronics in Pennsauken.

My old blue sweater had seen better days, but it was comfortable and I never wanted to part with it. Missing buttons pockets falling off.until one day a good friend of mine saw me in this sweater and knew how much I loved it and she sat down and patiently sewed it back together. Until one day out of the kindness of her heart her and her husband went out and bought me a new sweater. That touched my heart forever , read into this story what you must, but I still have my old blue sweater in memory of my good friend.God bless you.
