My thoughts and prayers go out to Barbara's family, especially Melissa. She was such a loyal and wonderful friend to my mother,Bernadette. I feel at peace knowing that they are reunited, free from illness and pain.

Barbara was a great friend to my mother Bernadette. I remember her always bringing joy with her visits. I also remember her devotion to her daughter and that she always had time to listen to others.  Truly a great and strong woman.

I've heard about Melissa's (my niece) Mother for a long time.  I always thought that Melissa was a hero to her mom.  Now I find out the Barbara was a hero to Melissa, and so it should be.  She endured so much over many years.  Melissa and her Mother were best friends.  I've always admired Melissa & Barbara for there relationship.  They will always be "Melissa & Barbara"

My sincere thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family. May God give you strength as well as the courage to deal with the loss of your mother. She was a kind woman. Your family shall forever be in my prayers.
