OBITUARY

Charles Joseph Cacchioli

March 8, 1953July 10, 2020

Charles Joseph Cacchioli, 67, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey passed away on July 10, 2020.

Charles grew up in Fairfield and attended college at Farleigh Dickinson University. After working in human resources, Charles spent over thirty years of his career in information technology management, recruiting, and consulting.

Charles was warm, funny, and incredibly selfless. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend. He enjoyed playing his acoustic guitar, cooking, sitting on the beach with his family, playing tennis with his daughter, and ordering cosmopolitans “with rocks on the side.”

He is survived by his wife, Anne and daughter, Jennifer; his sister, Toni Ferraro and her husband, Jim; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Cacchioli and mother, Mary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Garden of Dreams Foundation. A memorial service will be set at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, Collingswood NJ. Please leave your remembrances of Charles on Blake-Doyle.com

I was heartbroken and shocked to hear of Charlie's passing. I just spoke to him a few weeks ago. He was like a father to me .. an older brother .. I have known Charlie forever across so many companies - too many companies, but he was always the voice of reason. I am going to miss Charlie. We were just talking about getting together for a drink when all the craziness calmed down. Yeah, I am so sorry and I send my condolences. He was a great friend and I will truly miss him. May he find peace in heaven - he will forever live in my memory.

Dear Anne and Jennifer,

I first want to extend my deepest sympathies to both of you and your Family on the loss of your Husband and Father. Charlie was a legend in the staffing industry. I had the privilege of working and being mentored by Charlie at Modis along side of other Colleagues that Charlie had mentored at his Modis and IMI days (Leslie and Maribel). That Team at Modis was Charlie's Angels. Charlie was a great leader. He always had the time to brainstorm an issue, lend a hand and go above and beyond. He Cared! In the time I worked with Charlie, I have many fond memories and know he will be missed. I will keep Charlie and all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

With Deepest Sympathies,

Debbie Taylor

I am at a total loss... I have known Charlie since the mid-1990s when we were both part of a local recruiter's network. We have kept touch over the years, and never lost that friendship that we developed so many years ago. He was someone I could go to for advice, or break bread with, or a quick call just to check in and have a laugh or two. There are very few people that I keep in my inner circle of professional friends, that I know I can count on, and who have the level of integrity that Charlie had. I will miss him, and I send my deepest of condolences to his family. My he rest easy in the arms of our loving Savior.

Dear Anne, I was so saddened to hear of your Husband Charles death. You are very special to me. When I came to Hillside to work, you were always friendly, interested, and just a wonderful genuine person. I can see by the memories that I've read here about Charlie, that he was also a wonderful, genuine person. I'm so very sorry that this happened to him, you, and your daughter. My Prayers are with you through this sorrowful time.
Sincerely, Betty Gentile
