Age 85 of Camden
Passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2012, He was the beloved husband of Ruth N. Gorman (nee Turner);
father of Margaret Dario, Charles A. (Eileen) Gorman, Jr., Mary Ann Cannon, the late Michael T. Gorman & the late Kathleen Gorman; father-in-law of Peggy Shultz; grandfather of 13; great grandfather of 15;
brother of Elizabeth Flick, Dorothy Principato, the late Mary Manning, the late Patricia Simone, the late John Gorman & the late Thomas Gorman.
Lindy served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WW II, thereafter
Mr. Gorman was a member of Int’l Union of Operating Engineers Local 825D, working as a dredgeman for American Dredge in North Jersey & New York, retiring in 1992 .
From 1964 to 70 he also owned Lindy’s Bar in Gloucester City.
