Christine Sanford

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 20, 1948, Christine lived a life rooted in faith, service, and family. She was the cherished wife of Daniel Sanford with whom she shared 57 loving years of memories, and the devoted mother of Dennis Sanford. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Kevin and Destiny, and will be deeply missed by her loyal dog, Sparky. Christine was predeceased by her beloved son, Joseph Sanford, whose memory she carried with her always.

Christine dedicated much of her life to education and her faith. She served with distinction as Vice President and longtime member of the Woodlynne School Board for over 35 years, where her leadership and compassion left a lasting impact on students, families, and fellow board members. A woman of deep spiritual commitment, she was also a Eucharistic minister at Most Precious Blood Parish in Collingswood and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Woodlynne—roles she fulfilled with reverence and love.

Christine's unwavering kindness, quiet strength, and selfless dedication will be remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, August 30, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Church in Collingswood, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at New Saint Mary Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Christine’s memory to St. Jude’s Hospital.
