Darlene M. DiLullo

Predeceased by her husband, Charles DiLullo, and her brother, Leslie Newman, Darlene was the beloved mother of Daneen V. (David) Scott of Haddonfield, NJ, Lynette M. (Joe) Almeida of Sicklerville, NJ and Don R. (Abigail) Valentino of Cherry Hill, NJ. She was also the proud and loving grandmom of 8 grandchildren: Natalie, Benjamin and Jennifer Scott, Luke Almeida, and Daniel, Isabelle, Carina, and Adam Valentino.

Darlene was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. A dedicated pediatric nurse for many years, Darlene took care of countless children in the South Jersey area, including her grandchildren.

Darlene’s greatest joy was being with her family, especially during holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, and dining out. Known for her competitive spirit, Darlene spent many afternoons and evenings playing Bingo and Rummikub with friends. Darlene will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and positive outlook on life, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Darlene’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 13, starting at 11:00 AM at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, 226 West Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. Darlene’s Celebration of Life will follow at noon.
