

Born on February 2, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA, Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and most recently lived in Haddonfield and Hammonton, New Jersey. Over the course of her long and full life, she touched many with her presence and left behind a legacy rooted in family and resilience. Dot was also a graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School, class of '52. After moving to New Jersey, Dot worked in the Business office at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ and also for the Oaklyn Police Department.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, John D. Kelly, who passed away in 1984, and her second husband, Charles G. Barnett, who passed in 2023. She is also predeceased by her youngest sister Patricia McPaul and her husband, James McPaul.
She is lovingly remembered by her five children: Donna Kelly and her husband, Robert Krupak; Diane Kelly; Carol Angilletta (the late Thomas); Christine Kelly and her husband William Finn; and John T. Kelly. Dot is also survived by five grandchildren, Eric, Thomas, Lisa, Bridget and Alyssa, and six great-grandchildren. Her devotion to her family was a constant throughout her life.
She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth Betson and her husband Robert and their family, as well as Catherine Wiseley (the late Charles) and her family. Their enduring bond remained a source of strength and comfort through the years.
Dorothy’s life was marked by deep familiar connections and the quiet strength with which she navigated life’s joys and challenges. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Mass immediately following at 11:00 AM. Burial following Mass at Gate of Heaven cemetery, 260 White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
