Francis Jack Christy

Francis J. Christy, of Collingswood, NJ, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 59. Born in Camden, NJ, on November 19, 1965, Francis lived a life marked by quiet strength, loyalty, and deep passions.

A dedicated truck driver by trade, Francis was known for his hardworking spirit and the pride he took in his work. Off the road, he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, never missing a game and always ready to talk stats and highlights. He also loved reading, watching wrestling, and playing video games—simple pleasures that brought him joy and kept his mind sharp.

Francis adored music, especially classic rock played on 93.3 WMMR, the auditory home of his favorite DJ and dear friend, Jacky BamBam.

Francis was predeceased by his beloved parents, Katherine Christy and Paul Farrell; his sister, Kathleen Christy; his brother, Gilbert Christy; his niece, Jennifer Christy; and his nephew, Gilbert Christy, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Colwell) Christy; his children, Paul (Sarah) Christy and Kelsey (Cash Cleveland) Christy; and his cherished grandchildren, Hailey Christy and Calliope Cleveland. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In remembrance of Francis, Donations can be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
