I'm so very sorry to learn of George's passing. He and I did a lot of growing up together. We were  very close as boys and into young men.

George lived one street over from me while growing up in Cornwells Heights. He was our family's young paperboy when I was in 7th grade, when we first met.  Even though he went to St. Charles and I attended public school, we became close friends for many years. He looked out for me like a big brother. He even let me take my driver's test in his car, when I failed it the first time when I couldn't make the turnaround with my parents' large Pontiac Impala. We attended his Father Judge's junior prom together.  We sledded and built snowmen together, and travelled in the same circle of friends for years. He was a real gentle and caring person.  He continued to visit my parents from time to time, and even brought Jim's mother to meet them when they were dating. Then little Jimmy a few years later, to show him off.  My parents loved his considerate visits, and were very fond of George. My parents have passed now, and I hope my Mom is able to greet George at Heaven's Gate.  He often called her his "second mom", and she loved it. Even though I have never met Jim and his wife, Sue, my deepest sympathy goes out to them and the rest of the family.  George was a great person, and a wonderful friend, before we lost touch over the years. His memory, and the good times we shared growing up, will be with me forever. My deepest sympathy. I


So sorry to hear of your loss Boral family.  May Our Lords caring, rest upon you during this time of transition in your lives and may the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ give you peace which transcends all understanding.

Dear Jim and Susan,

We were so deeply saddened to learn of  George's passing.  We will always treasure the wonderful times we shared with your father down through these many years.  He was always such a loving, positive, and kind person to us !  He was a great man, and we will miss him very much !

My parents, Jeanne and Ed , also thought the world of George !   They always enjoyed spending time with George so much !

Having your father as part of our life has been a true blessing to us !  He will always be in our hearts!   God Bless You !  You are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time .
