James Michael Mcgovern

James McGovern passed away on September 21, 2011, age 55, of Lancaster (formerly of Laurel Springs and Collingswood). Loving husband of Judy (nee Fitzgerald) and predeceased by wife Dorothyann (nee Orth). Beloved father of Jaime (Mike) Reynolds, Lisa McGovern, James McGovern Jr, and Jon (Penny) Fitzgerald. Brother of William McGovern, Nancy (Jack) Bates, John (Gary Milby) McGovern, Dennis McGovern, and Paul (Maria) McGovern. Grandfather of Arran. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim worked as a machinist for 30 years for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News. He was a member of and Treasurer of I.A.M.A.W. Local 648. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation Tuesday Eve 7-9pm at the Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, 226 Collings Ave, Collingswood. Wednesday 10-11am at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta (St. John’s Church), Park & Lees Ave, Collingswood. Funeral Mass 11am. Inurnment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
