John A. Scullan Sr. passed away Saturday September 1st 2018 at age 74.

He is pre deceased by parents Aloysius and Elizabeth Scullan (nee Connors). He leaves behind his beloved wife Livia Scullan (nee Cerrito), dear children Lisa Ann (Greg) Hannon, Nichelle (Kurt) Bicking, Frances (Phil) Reily, Mario (Leanne) Scullan, John (Michele) Scullan Jr., grandchildren: Angela, Lauren, Jake, Josh, Sophia, Madison, MacKenzi, Maria, Luke, Julian, Nicholas, Aiden, Marissa, Brandi, Johnny, Brandon, and Rylee, as well as great-grandchildren, Andrew, Hannah, Nico, Kylee, Charlotte, and Autumn. He is also survived by many sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. John is also survived by adored family fur babies Ali and Andy.

John was a proud U.S Navy Veteran of Vietnam War. After the service, John worked for Bell Telephone Co. until his retirement. John was a lifetime history buff, his favorite area of study being the Civil War. In his spare time he enjoyed doing crafts with his wife and woodworking; having created things such as toy chests, rocking chairs, bassinets and shelving. He was a pragmatic, organized and patient man and father with much wisdom and knowledge to share. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent a lot of time happily involved in their lives. John was married 53 years to the love of his life Livia, and was a steadfast and loving husband. He truly will be missed by all who loved him.

Friends and family are invited to the Viewing Friday September 7, 2018, 9:00-11:00AM with a Prayer Service to take place 11:00AM with at BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, 226 W.
