There is someone that was so special to Pop and to our family, but because I did not want to hurt any feelings, she was not included in the Obituary that was originally submitted. Pop's Niece/Goddaughter Maria Carly (Wames). She has not only been by Pop's side from day 1, but by our whole family's side from day 1, which is why she will always be my Sister.
Michael adored his family pets, Bailey Lee, Bootsie, Socks, Sweetie, and Peanut. He was a true Philadelphia sports fan. He had a huge love of horse racing. He enjoyed Sundays with Sinatra, good Italian food and family time. Throughout his life, he most enjoyed attending sporting events of all the children in the family as well as the children of many friends that he considered family. Michael enjoyed time spent at the OTB with friends. Michael spent many years working at Sorrento's Pizza where everyone came to see him.
As many know and may have witnessed, Michael had an amazing singing voice.
Michael and his beloved wife, were the Property Managers at Creswood Apartments in Collingswood, for many years. All of us at Creswood were family, and to this day, are family.
Michael lived his life for his family, however, the record shows, “he did it his way!”
Pop was strong, he said what he meant and meant what he said. He believed under no circumstances, never forsake your family.
Pop You will be truly missed.
