Age 66 of Clementon
Mar 18, 1949 – Feb 15, 2016. Son of Frank Kozak & Emily Bakota Kozak. Survived by his wife Eileen Schuler Kozak and his two beloved children and his son-in-law; Valerie (Bill) Boggs & Steven Kozak; his two grandchildren Maranda & Tyler Boggs.
“Pop” was there for his children and grandchildren through all the milestones in their lives, big & small. Even though Rich & Eileen were separated for 33 years, they loved each other, were best friends & actively parented & grand parented together. Rich was present at the family home at least weekly if not more. If something broke he would help out usually fixing whatever the problem was.
He is also survived by 3 sisters Fran Hubler, Judy (Dan) Guerriero and his “little sister” and dear friend Karen Marchese, brother Tom Kozak, along with numerous nieces, nephews & their children and extended family on his wife’s side.
He was loved by all he met & respected for the man he was.
He spent time in the Navy after high school then worked for Lehigh Press until the plant closed. He was hired by House of Gold Printing & found a new group of friends & coworkers who appreciated his skills, knowledge & caring personality.
Many tears have & will be shed at his passing but an abundance of happy memories exist to help us get through his loss.
Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service on Saturday February 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, 226 W. Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. The Service will be 4:30 PM at the funeral home.
Rich is and will always be loved by those who were blessed to know him.
