Rita Patricia Crowder

She was born and raised in Camden, NJ, and was a proud alumna of Camden Catholic High School. Rita spent her life serving others, whether at her job as an insurance customer service representative, as a volunteer at Underwood Memorial Hospital, as a hospice volunteer, or being there for her many loved ones.

Rita, who was known fondly as “Reets”, “Aunt Reets”, “Sharpie”, or “Mom-mom”, depending on who you were, was always very giving of her time. Rita could always be counted on to offer her help, her unflagging positive energy, her boundless sense of humor, and her love, for issues great and small.

Rita leaves behind her children James (Concetta) Crowder and Kelly (Michael) Cupps, her granddaughters Emily Crowder and Anna Crowder, her brother Harry (“Skip”) Neidig, Jr., her sister Maryann Costanzo, and her beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Robert Neidig, as well as her parents Harry Neidig, Sr. and Veronica Neidig."

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, 226 W. Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108.

Cremation will be held privately.
