So-Lin Hui Kaenzig

So-Lin (Mei-Ling) Hui Kaenzig was born and raised in Hong Kong before meeting her husband George and relocating to West Deptford, NJ, where she spent much of her life and made lasting memories with friends and family.

A beloved wife, mother and friend, Mei-Ling was a true warrior in every sense of the word. She fought for what she believed in and never gave up on anything or anyone, whether it was providing a comforting word, a hug, or a helping hand.

Known lovingly to many as Mei-Ling and most affectionately known as "Mei-Lan's mommy" and "Candy Lady", Mei-Ling's love for her family and community was boundless.

A constant at school and sports events: she could always be heard cheering, giving her support to all the players and performers, sharing jokes, delicious food or candy and bringing laughter and smiles on the sidelines.

In honor of her life and the love she gave, we ask that you celebrate her memory by being kind to one another, just as she always did.

Mei-Ling is survived by her husband George Kaenzig, daughter Mei-Lan Kaenzig-Hersh and son-in-law Chris Kaenzig-Hersh.

In honor of the family's wishes there will not be a viewing or memorial service. There will be a burial service at St. Joseph's cemetery- Interment St, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 on Saturday March 8, 2025, at 10am..
