Sonia DeFelicis

Sonia (nee Rozalovich) on Aug 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Long-time resident of Haddon Township. She was born to Lucy and Daniel Rozalovich, and raised in Camden along with her late sister Mary Kolton. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Gerald (Jerry) DeFelicis. Loving mother of Thea (Dan) McGovern, Jay DeFelicis, and Trish (Chuck) LaBouff, as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Sonia graduated from Camden High School and Steelman Business School, and worked as a legal secretary. She was proud of her many years of participation and leadership in organizations supporting her children and the community. She was a Girl Scout leader, PTA president, Collingswood-Haddon Township Jayceettes president, and Haddon Fortnightly club member and president. She was significantly involved in the restoration of the Champion School in Haddon Township and liked dressing in period costume to give historical talks to the visiting school children. Sonia and Jerry were among the first parishioners in the establishment of the St. Vincent Pallotti church. They loved traveling, and attending the theater and orchestra. Sonia’s interests included sewing, needlework, painting, gardening, and playing bridge. She enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family, decorating the house and creating festive meals.
