Tom was born on June 11, 1934 to Joseph Regan and Marion (née Fitzgerald) Kehoe in Rockaway Beach, New York.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict, a chapter he carried with quiet pride, and later graduated from St. John’s University in just three years; reflective of his drive and work ethic.
He married Gracemarie Wengrove in 1960, whom he cherished above all else, and they raised five children.
Tom built a successful career as a retail executive and was an excellent and seasoned salesman as people were simply drawn to his positive nature. He was highly respected by his peers and was a personable, effective and kind mentor to all who worked with him and for him.
A devout and faithful Catholic with bright blue eyes and an unrelenting Irish charm, Tom was known for his quick wit, legendary storytelling, and loving, gentle nature.
Predeceasd by his parents, his twin sister, Suzanne Kehoe Damico, his brother, Joseph Kehoe and his daughter, Kathleen, he is survived by his wife, Gracemarie Kehoe (née Wengrove); his children, Diane White (John), Thomas, Jr., Terence (Soraya), and Jennifer Dodd (Brian). He was an affectionate, kind, intuitive, and present father who was adored by his children.
Tom’s greatest joy was being “Pop Pop” to his 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sean (Karla), Kevin (Lexi), Kathleen (Patrick Fryer), Alexander (Cydni), Samuel, Charles, Theresa, and Miles, Gracemarie, Ava Jane, and Addison, with another great-grandchild expected this summer.
Tom is often referred to as the favorite uncle by his many nieces and nephews, a title worn with humor and pride. Tom’s energy was bright, funny, and caring, leaving behind a legacy of faith and laughter.
