Alan P. Trzyna, age 61, of Peyton, Colorado, passed away on Sep 16, 2018 in his home. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Sep 21, 2018, at Wooden Valley Chapel, 290 E. Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, CO. Burial will follow at 1230pm, at Lake George Cemetery.
Alan was born in Denver, Colorado to Rose and Casimir Trzyna on Dec 16, 1957. He attended school at Palmer High School and graduated from Colorado School of Mines. He was married to Pamella on Aug 19, 2014 . He had more than 28 years experience in the Observation and Testing Construction Material in the field and laboratory. He worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for Rocky Mountain Materials and CTL Thompson. He received certificates for NICET 2-4 of Geotechnical Engineering Technology. Masonry Industry QC Special Instructor. Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association LABCAT.
He was a 1991 Pikes Peak Hill Climb Champion. He had a passion and sincere love for the outdoors, dirt biking, fishing and snow mobiling.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Alan is survived by his wife, Pamella Trzyna, his son, Aron Trzyna, and 2 step daughters, Shawna Larocoque and Jennifer Buffington, his sister, Linda Trzyna, a brother, Wayne Trzyna, nephew Leo Trzyna and grandchildren.
