Amanda Troilo Hill (Milligan), beloved wife, daughter, sister, and stepmother, passed away from complications associated with cardiovascular disease on March 27, 2017 in Colorado Springs. She was born in Longmont, Colorado on November 23, 1982.
Amanda graduated from Coronado High School in 2001 and took several courses following her commencement that aligned with her talents and interests, including design, artmaking, and horseshoeing.
Amanda possessed a natural affinity for and ease with animals – and they loved her too. She was skilled in dressage and enjoyed caring for all animals, from felines to horses to hamsters. Amanda also loved cars in general and NASCAR in particular; keenly appreciated country music; and was a talented chef: she often volunteered to cook for her family and local organizations.
Those who loved her will remember Amanda as spirited and extremely generous, always willing to help those who needed it most.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Marian and Conrad Troilo of Wheat Ridge and Ruth and Gilbert Hill of Kentucky. Amanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Christopher Sebastian; parents Connie and Patrick Milligan, Gene Hill, and stepmom Laurel Hill; grandmother Helen Milligan; siblings Jonah Hill and Kristy Milligan; stepdaughter Rhiannon Sebastian; scores of extended family: aunts, uncles, cousins; and every animal she ever met.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 11am at Swan Law, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamlett Spay and Neuter Clinic in Colorado Springs or Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center.
