Andy was born December 30, 1971 in Syracuse, New York to Martin H. and Rosemary C. (Matula) Nadelen. He graduated from Liberty High School, Colorado Springs, CO in 1990. He lettered in several sports and was active in DECA. He then attended UCCS in Colorado Springs.
A marriage to Cristy McAvoy ended in divorce.
Andy began his mobile DJ business “Complete Music,” a division of the Denver-based company due to his love of music, everything from the 60's to current. He so enjoyed entertaining guests at weddings and parties and was adept getting people onto the dance floor. He continued to accomplish this even from the confines of his wheelchair. He was an avid New York Football Giants fan, 200+ average bowler, enjoyed golf, loved to play Texas Hold 'Em and tell jokes to anyone who would listen. Andy's favorite movie was “Tombstone” (1993), and his favorite songs were “Take Me To Church” and “The Reason.”
Andy is survived by his mother, Rosemary, Colorado Springs, his Uncle Lon (& Cathy) Nadelen, cousins Christopher Nadelen and children, Fairport, New York, Shawn (& Mary) Nadelen and children, Lutherville, Maryland, and Uncle James Matula, Turin, New York. He was predeceased by his father, Martin, grandparents Robert and Arlene Nadelen, Aunt Robin Nadelen and grandparents Bennie and Florence Matula.
