Angela Ann Cesario passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 28, 1936, to Albert and Mary Cesario. Her parents owned and operated a popular bakery in Trinidad, Colorado, where she grew up and attended Holy Trinity High School. She was an outstanding student and graduated with honors. Angela left Trinidad to attend the University of California, Berkeley, and then went on to do post-graduate work in Journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago. She spent 40 years in corporate-level administrative management in the San Francisco Bay area before retiring and moving to Colorado Springs. In addition to working as Special Projects Coordinator for Mt. Carmel of Colorado, Angela served as Board Secretary for the Mt. Carmel of Colorado Board of Trustees, the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, and the Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center. She also served on boards for the Trinidad Community Foundation and the PILLAR Institute for Lifelong Learning. Angela provided impeccable support with a smile in every role she served. She was passionate about the arts- all forms of music, painting, and writing. She was an accomplished writer and artist herself. Angela was a devoted daughter, cousin, and friend.
Angela Ann was preceded in death by her loving parents and cousin, Billy Cesario. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church at 9 El Pomar Road in Colorado Springs on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Carmel Wellness & Community Center, Pikes Peak Hospice, or PILLAR Institute for Lifelong Learning.
