Aunt Ruth and Uncle Clark's visits to the farm in MO were always a fun time for us to get together. I was always tickled how Aunt Ruth would just roll her eyes at Uncle Clark and my dad acting like brothers--"little boys" once again fussing, playing and working together! Cooking in the kitchen and visiting or hearing about trips they took together with my folks. Good, good memories.

My family started attending First Southern in 1974. My brother Lloyd sister Lisa and myself all became friends with the Hill family. Being part of the youth group we became close to Janet and that in turn brought us to knowing Matt and Stuart Smith. We have such fond memories of Mrs. Hill, as she became one of second Moms for all of us. She was so graceful and kind. She always made us feel welcome in her home. She has celebrated birthdays and other special occasions. Her smile could light up a room and make you feel so special. With her passing it once again reminds me of the special time when we were in high school and all the special parents of the gang. We have loss so many of them and reminds us that we will all be together again in heaven. Rest in peace dearest Mrs. Hill.
