Arthur Eugene Themel, (also known as “Pops” and “Padre”), passed away on February 20, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, September 13, 1960, the oldest of three children to James Sr and Hildegard Themel.
Arthur was a unique individual filled with love and sarcastic humor. Some of his favorite past times were skiing, trains, playing computer and board games, raising hell, and cooking.
Arthur leaves behind to cherish his memory, parents James Sr and Hildegard, siblings James Jr and Jenny, loving children Adrianna, Robert, and Carolyn, grandchild Liam, as well as a host of wonderful nieces, friends, and extended family.
Visitation will take place Thursday, February 28, 2013, 9-11AM followed by the memorial service at 11:30-12:30 at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave.
