Barbara J. Winnick, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on September 17, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Fareham, England, January 6, 1927.

Barbara grew up in the English countryside with her parents, Stanley and Brenda Holden. At the young age of 17 she attended nursing school and served as a registered nurse in World War II. Her family traveled to the United States and earned their citizenship. She continued her nursing career in Detroit, Michigan where she met her late husband, Larry Winnick. They were married for 30 years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory loving children Kim (Mark) Meyer, Bill (Kathy) Winnick; dear grandchildren Brad (Maggie Howard) Meyer, Jake (Katrina) Meyer, and Rachel Winnick.

A Memorial Open House will take place Saturday, November 28th, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Winnick’s home, 12947 Brookhill Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80921.
