She was born January 4th, 1930 in Pennsylvania to Harry and Claire Boakes. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1974. She loved spending time outdoors planting flowers, but her biggest passion was the generations of children she loved and raised.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and companion Gene Annis; a sister, Dori Hassen; a son, Edward Hearne. She is survived by one sister, Claire Spencer; a daughter, Kimberly Hearne; 4 grandchildren-Jessica, Nathan, Amber, and Pete; 15 great-grandchildren; and other family members.
