

Formerly of Chicago, Illinois, she was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church, was a former member of church choir and was active in the "Golden Agers", where she served as their President for three years. She also served her church as a Eucharistic Minister. Bernice loved to bowl, and bowled at Kin Pin, Circle and Harmony Lanes. She served as a volunteer at Penrose Community Hospital and Care Castle, was active in the Open Heart Club, and belonged to the Senior Center of Colorado Springs, the Fine Art Center and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies - Purple Mountain Majesties.
Bernice is survived by her sons, Robert & Michael in the Chicago area, by Tom & Gary in Colorado; her daughter, Barbara Miller in the Chicago area, by 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 14th at 11:00 AM, Holy Apostles Catholic Church - 4925 Carefree Circle N., Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment will be in St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
