Bessie Jones passed away on February 26th, 2011 at the age of 76. Though born in Rochester, Minnesota, Bessie was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs and Canon City. She was an Alterations and Dry Cleaning Specialist for many years.
Bessie Jones is preceded in death by her parents William P. Jones and Bessie Mae Stambaugh, and her brother Harvey R. Jones. She is survived by her brother William R. Jones, and sisters Claudia Savage and Lydia (Henry) Muhme.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A traditional service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Rd., Colorado Springs, CO.
