

Born April 26, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Jasper and Lena Mae Gann.
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy eight years and was a Korean War Veteran, serving an additional 14 years retiring from United States Air Force as Master Sergeant and Vietnam Veteran. Civilian life, Bill retired from civil service after 17 years, and served as volunteer working with the Harker Heights Police Department.
Bill was an active giving member of his Church who loved singing. A proud "Pa-pa", Bill loved playing Pinochle and Dominos with his grandchildren. Bill could fix and build anything and loved working with wood.
Bill was preceded in death by his cherished grandson, Garrick A. Lackey; brothers, Ernest, Albert and Jackie; and sister Helen.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Gladys N. Gann of Harker Heights; children, Joseph Gann, of Colorado and Pamela (Gann) and husband Richard Lackey of Littlestown Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kimberlee (Lackey) and husband Philip Clapsaddle of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Robert and wife Lauren Lackey of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, and Marlee Lackey of Littlestown, Pennsylvania and Garrick’s soul mate Sarah Schumaker of Orlando, Florida; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrick Clapsaddle of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; and numerous family and friends.
The Family will receive friends from 3-4pm Wednesday January 6, 2016, at Belton Nazarene Church, 1701 Sparta Rd, Belton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm at the Church.
A remembrance with family and friends will take place from 1-3pm, ending with Graveside military honors at 3pm on Saturday Jan 9, 2016, at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
