Bonnie S. Bowker Brown was born September 18th, 1938 in Aurora, Indiana to Rev. and Mrs. Cecil E. Bowker (deceased) and she departed this life, January 22nd, 2019 in Colorado Springs, CO after an extended battle with dementia. Bonnie attended Frankfort Pilgrim College in Frankfort, Indiana and then Indiana University, where she received her degree in accounting. On October 26th, 1961 she married the love of her life, Samuel Henry Brown. Bonnie spent 56 wonderful years with Sam until his death in 2017. Bonnie was a faithful and talented pianist and organist in several churches in Colorado Springs for many years. Bonnie was a very special mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, affectionately called “Granny-Bon.” Bonnie is survived by her adult children: daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Wayne Sprenger of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Christa and Joseph Stoner of Harrisonburg, VA; and son and daughter-in-law, S. Matthew and Mary-Margaret Brown of Midlothian, VA; and her ten dear grandchildren.
