Bonnie Kyle Nuss, 83, long-time resident of Colorado Springs, passed away in her home on March 6, 2026. Bonnie was born in San Diego on July 6, 1942. After high school she began a lifetime of hard work, spending many years as a beloved employee of Highland Commercial Group in Colorado Springs. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Don and Paula Fruit, her beloved husband Ken, and her brother-in-law Jack Horner. She is survived by her step daughters Kerry Murray and Kayleen Nuss, her sister Dixie Horner, her nephew Brandon and his wife Bridget, her niece Autumn and her husband Gabe, and 11 great nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved to dance and always enjoyed a good mystery book. She was a joyful and loving person who truly cherished her family and friends. She had eyes that smiled and a wonderful ability to make time spent together fun and memorable. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Bonnie’s life at Swan Law Funeral Home on March 19, 2026, at 3 p.m., with a reception following.
