Bruce graduated from Doherty High School, Class of 1984. Following graduation, Bruce worked with his Uncle Les at Quality Wood Truss before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Bruce served for 3 years in the U.S. Army, which included a tour in Korea. Upon completion of service, Bruce worked for over 30 years in the moving and storage industry.
Bruce was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bruce had a keen interest in history and western culture. Bruce had a huge heart. He had an immense love for his family.
Bruce was preceded in death by grandparents John and Blanche Crook, Delbert and Helen Cruse and brother Brent Crook. He is survived by his parents Bill and Nancy Crook (Cruse) of Colorado Springs, his brother Kevin Crook and his wife Shelley and their children Olivia and Quinn of Colorado Springs, and his sister Kindra Green and her husband Chris and their children Cade, Kallie, and Rylee of Wiggins, Colorado. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
