

Bryan was born on April 7, 1987 near Manteca, CA to Damon and Sami Griffin. He was the second of four children. In 1988, when Bryan was a year old, the family moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be closer to Aunt Kathy Francis. Growing up in Security-Widefield, Bryan enjoyed reading, watching TV and movies, playing video games, and rollerblading.
Bryan graduated from Widefield High School in 2005. He worked for Time Warner Cable / Spectrum from 2011 – 2020 and Progressive Insurance from 2020 - 2023. Bryan was a hard worker and was proud of his workplace contributions throughout his career. Bryan was well liked everywhere he ever went and quickly became a leader in his workplaces. In 2013, Bryan met Lance Smith. The two were later married on August 21, 2016 and they purchased a home in Colorado Springs in 2018.
Bryan had a vivid imagination and he loved many different forms of media. His favorite TV shows were Xena: Warrior Princess and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and his favorite movies where Terminator 2, My Cousin Vinny, and The Little Mermaid. His favorite video games were Final Fantasy VII and the Pokémon series. Bryan loved many musical artists but his favorite was Britney Spears.
Bryan was brave. He stood up for himself and others. Bryan was optimistic, strong willed, very smart, and a nice person who liked to laugh. He was kind to others, effortlessly cool, and extremely funny. Bryan loved his family and friends very much. He frequently told flattering stories about his family and friends to the point where even if you had not met the person he was talking about, you still “knew” them from Bryan’s stories. Bryan was a gifted storyteller.
Bryan leaves behind his loving Mother Sami Griffin and Stepdad Clint Ingram; Aunt Kathy Francis; Siblings Russ Griffin of San Diego, CA, Cole Fritza of Falcon, CO, and Nikita Griffin of Fountain, CO; Nephew Aidan Griffin and Niece Mariah Fritza; Ex-Husband Lance Smith; chosen family Daemon LaVey and Andrew Wentling; and many dear friends and extended family.
Bryan made a positive impact on the world and he will be dearly missed by his friends and family. A private Celebration of Life will be held for Bryan in March 2026.
