Buddy Harold Hubbard, 53, of LaJunta, Colorado passed away on March 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Buddy had lived in Colorado throughout his life and had loved all of the nature and the beauty that Colorado had to offer. Buddy was also a proud Veteran and had served in the US Navy where he was able to have, as he told his son “the most beautiful experiences and greatest food he had ever tried in Greece”.
Buddy met Tari Genaw in Pueblo, Colorado and they feel deeply in love. They lived a wonderful and happy life in LaJunta. Tari meant the world to Buddy. Buddy loved to visit and spend time with his two children from a previous marriage (Whom he loved with the most fierce love of any father in existence) Buddy was a soft spoken, kind hearted, loving man. Always positive and smiling, he lived his life to the fullest and never lost faith in our lord Jesus Christ who he had a deeply personal relationship with.
Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Eric Hubbard who passed when Buddy was only 4 years old, his mother, Wynona (Bever) Vincent and baby sister, Virginia Hubbard (Ginny) who passed when she was only 3. Although in life they could not be together, in Eternal Life they are now with one another forever.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife, Tari Genaw; his children, Kenneth Cranston Hubbard and Jennifer Faye Hubbard; his stepdaughter, Carol Quintana (and her children); his sister, Charlotte as well as his brothers, Dean and David Hubbard.
Buddy will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 7, 2014 at 2:00pm at the LaJunta First Church of the Nazarene. Buddy will later be Inurned at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
