Carol was born July 30, 1940 in Toronto to David and Ruth MacKenzie. She grew up in Ontario and enjoyed canoeing around Bear Creek.
Later on, Carol met Al Walsh at J.S. Redpath, and they were married on June 30, 1975 in North Bay. Together, they raised three sons: Kevin, Micheal, and Graham.
In her later years, Carol enjoyed traveling, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Al; son, Graham; daughters-in-law, Kyra and Nathalie; and her grandchildren, Randy, McKenna, Gavin, Ava, and Caleb.
