Char Wahlborg

Mary Charlene Wahlborg (Char), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2016, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, June 19, 1950, the first of four children born to the late John and Mary Dennerline. Char graduated from Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado with degrees in Business Administration 1973 and in English 1990. She taught at Palmer Lake Elementary School her entire career. Family, friends and a lifelong pursuit of learning were central in her life. She enjoyed family vacations to Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Park, Disneyland and visiting family in Arizona and Kansas. Quilting was a favorite hobby and she embraced holistic health practice later in life. She cherished the loving memory of her late son, Erik, and leaves behind to treasure her memory, devoted husband Dwight Wahlborg; her loving son, Kirk, and grandchildren Emma, Ally and Graycee. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs.
