

Skip went peacefully on angels wings to live with our Lord on Saturday, June 16th, 2012. Skip was born on October 15, 1947 in Pierre, South Dakota to Clifford and Fern Mulso.
He was married to Phyllis Mattheis on March 20th, 1966 in Winner, South Dakota and they made their new home in Chicago, Illinois where Skip worked for Delta Airlines. The family relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1968. Skip worked at the Colorado Springs Airport and dry wall until he joined the Police force on June 17, 1970. He served on the force for 34 years where he made many lifelong friends and was a Medal of Valor Recipient on March 1, 1977 and Distinguished Service Award on May 26, 1999. He retired on July 16th, 2004.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends and camping with the Pikes Peak Rainbows RV Club. Enjoyed his grandchildren and activities. Was a member of the Memorial blood Bank Donor of 100 units and member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother Fern. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, his father Clifford Mulso, sister Tami and Brother Roger Mulso, his children Lance (Shelly) Mulso, Dawn (Andy) Franklin and Jason (Ashley) Mulso, his beloved grandchildren, Chance and Mitchell Mulso, Rikki and Kaycee Franklin and Averi and Eden Mulso and many nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends from 12p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Fount of Life Lutheran Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 22nd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fount of Life Lutheran Church, 6650 Omaha Blvd, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
