

Charles was born to Ethel (VanSkiver) and LaMoine Sundling on September 17, 1940 in Denver, Colorado. He was the oldest of seven children.
When he was just a few months old his parents moved him to Lincoln, Nebraska where Charles and his 6 brothers grew up. He met and married Patricia Cramer in April 1960 and they have spent 62 years together happily raising their two sons and traveling. Charles moved his family to Colorado in 1970 and to Colorado Springs in 1972. After retirement from Sysco Denver Wholesale Food’s he and Pat traveled extensively. Making their way to all 50 states and multiple countries. On Pat’s retirement they purchased an RV and in their little camper vans traveled around the USA and Canada. Chuck loved traveling and seeing all of the USA and Canada. His goal was to visit all the National parks in the USA and he made it to all but about three or four. Charles second love was cooking holiday dinners for family. The more family the better and there was always enough food for 4 or 5 more people.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert Sundling, Steven Douglas Sundling, and Stanley Sundling.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Pat, his sons LaMoine Rocky (Lisa) of Castle Rock, CO. and Charles Robin (Tracy) of Colorado Springs, Co; his 7 grandchildren Charles Ryan (Elise), William Jacob (Chelsea), Justin, Matthew, Bryttaney and Kamryn Sundling and Tyler Quinting; his Great grandchildren Charlotte and Izabella with more on the way. He is also survived by his brothers Richard (Jane) Sundling of Colorado Springs, CO, Thomas (Connie) of Apache Junction, AZ and Gerald (Glenda) Sundling of Lincoln, NE.
A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held on July 16, 2022 at the family home from 1 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the charity of your choice in his honor.
