Christina was born on January 30th, 1980, in Florida to Doyle and Nancy Cone. She was the first of two children. Growing up in a military family she moved around frequently and lived in several different countries, cities and states. They moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1994. Tina graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1998. Later she received her associate degree in Psychology. She found employment with Cedar Springs Hospital as an at-risk youth counselor. Later she would come to work for the Family Liquor Store. To work hand in hand daily with her parents and brother.
Since birth Tina fought for her own health. Spent more time in hospitals than anyone ever should. Family and friends were always extremely important in her life. Some believe she kept going throughout the strife's of her life for family and friends and not for herself. She found a way to keep going for us. She was a fighter and the toughest human anyone will ever know. A true inspiration to anyone that knew her.
She was an avid animal lover. She has joined her furry children preceded in death, Maddy, Gitte’, Sidney, and Little. Tina loved music. She would remind you “it’s all about the lyrics”. She could recite the lyrics to all her favorite songs and the biography of every band. She was a musical encyclopedia. Music was everything to her, enjoyed attending numerous concerts with Dad Lee and Husband Abe. Making sure to get a t-shirt from each one.
In May of 2014 Tina met her husband. It was truly love at first sight. They found each other’s soul’s mate. They shared their passions for the Packers, Mustangs, Music, and so much more. Tina taught Abe how to keep going. She taught him why life is worth living. How music can cure your soul. They introduced each other to so much music that would become the story of their lives. She made him feel that with her love anything was possible.
Christina leaves behind her husband of 10 years, Abe Stiedemann; Parents, Doyle and Nancy Cone; Brother, Brandon Cone; Sister-in-law, Krista Cone; Nephew, Kallen Cone; soon to be born nephew, Kadaan Cone: fur babies, Johnny and Bob. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Erin.
“Thanks for all your generous love and thanks for all the fun. Neither you nor I’m to blame, when all is said and done.”
