Christopher loved to spend time in the Colorado Rocky Mountains; they gave him peace. He enjoyed photography, hiking and camping. He was an avid fisherman from the time he moved to Colorado at age 11, and excelled at catching trout in the streams of Colorado.
Christopher was a Combat Medic with the United States Army, serving two tours in Iraq. He was honored to receive the gold and silver spurs with his Cavalry Unit.
He was known by his family and friends as a caring, intelligent, fun-loving person.
Christopher is survived by his parents, George and Madeline Hoherd; brother, Daniel Hoherd (and wife Tien); sister, Julie Burns (and husband Jon); and numerous nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held at the top of Cottonwood Pass in the Spring.
